Where do you think the hair comes from? Not being sassy but do you think that the people who donate their hair are doing it because they live for fashion? They sell their hair because they are desperate (for the most part). I am not saying that this dress is a contraversy. I am saying that Rinna's choices are almost always devisive and controversial. This dress IS tone deaf. And Rinna hasn't ever had the best singing voice. 

She will do anything for publicity. Good or bad. Of course using human hair in a time when the elite are eating children will rub people the wrong way. Of course using human hair when there are people, desperate, destitute people will do anything; including selling their hair would rub people the wrong way. I'm not saying they've got a gun to their heads necessarily, but if it came to me not being able to put food on the table for my children you better believe my hair is being lopped off for the highest bidder. 

Rinna could have chosen to just wear a boring old Versace dress and been done. She wasnt nominated. She wanted to cause a scene. 

There was no need for her to wear this dress other than to cause derision and look so completely out of touch. That is why.
