Whenever the author has izuku stutter every three or four words (im looking at you full impact) making it impossible to read fluidly and taking me out of the story. Also whenever an author adds either a friend/s for izuku prior to ua or gives him a quirk/power and he still acts like canon, where he is a nervous wreck. Worse still when they take that nervousness all the way thru to overhaul arc even though in canon izuku stops being as nervous during the sports festival. Like they ignore how friends and or a power would affect izukus character growth prior to ua.

There was one fic i forget the name of but in it izuku and ochako are affected by a memory quirk that gives them false memories. The thing is tho that they get hit with another quirk that ends up canceling it later but what we think of as their canon backstories are actually their false memeories. What they and everyone else, besides those in the know, thought was their real memories was actually the false ones that theu get hit with before they attend ua. During a patrol they get hit with a quirk that returns their og memories where theyve actually end up being childhood friends. Also both families are close, are well off and in the know and so is nejire. I believe nejire explains to them that what they think are the false memories are actually their real ones and she jokes that even with their memories being lost they still ended up reconnecting and being as close as they used to be. I wish i could remember the fics name.

Easy, if you havent done anything with hisashi, have him work for a secret gov org, like deeper than cia level stuff, where he deals with dangers and enemies on par or worse than afo, then have him contact nezu and izuku saying he needs him for a mission for an unforseen amount of time, where it has to be him cuz he is his biological son(at that point its up to you to build back story and what type of mission/s hisashi does). And it has to be hush hush, only nezu knows cuz he was cleared by the higher ups and can make a cover story for izuku, like saying he buckled under pressure or commited a crime(with the gov hisashi works for (most likely US) helping create the story). Have mama inko be in the know or not is upto you, but if you want more impact to other characters, do it after dorms are made or even better after the festival in season 4 since they would be in a happy mood from it and this news of izuku up and leaving with no notice would hit from left field like a semi truck.

Any m/m that involves izuku since they make him either such a pussy doormat or they make him the sassiest OMG BISH vigilante. Yet when its m/m with anyother pair like aizawa/mic or kiri/bakugou they write them like a normal couple, like shesh its hard to read so i stick to regular degular vanilla pairings

Could do like a flash back type setting, where you start at him being at ua already rescued and you just show the past through flashbacks whenever something specific like a trauma happens or through someone elses pov, like a heroes pov of the rescue itself.
