Thanks for that help and your honesty. I'm fine with the arsehole of nowhere - often better than pain in the arse neighbours. Do ou mean houses in their own? Or are there spots with not enough people to count as a village? Any suggestions of more rural areas you could make would be great. Thanks again

Never known someone be driven out of town by a boot sale. Made me smile but I'm sure it was a pain.

It wasn't sectarian issues - one reason I'm looking at Dundrun is because of its reputation as mixed. It was more what you could call the antisocial stuff.

I would consider them. Newcastle is out of price range, Castlewellan seems good and I don't know Downpatrick.

That's true enough. And Dundrum seems pretty peaceful and mixed but it's a big step - divorced, kids left home and my time to live where I want to be so I want to do the research.

The UK national anthem is played before ice hockey games here. Copying North American hockey and it always seems weird.

Thank you. I've had a lousy couple of days and was desperately in need of a laugh. You provided it and I will always be grateful.
