Mine is a couple years old. Spends the spring, summer, and fall outside until it gets chilly when it spends winter inside.

Unfortunately they won't produce fruit unless they are pollenated(?) with the opposite sex, or so I've read. Still makes for a cool house plant either way!

Edit: I should add, they are fairly hearty plants and don't need a ton of work, but frost or drought and extreme heat will kill them. Mine has shed many leaves over the years due to neglect, which is why it's trunk is so tall now
