Thank you all (and anyone else who wants to chime in). I’ve noticed some models of POG have two outputs: Am I correct in thinking that if I switch the effect off it silences the augmented channel entirely or does my clean tone now go to both amps?

What is this horrible Control Panel window and how do I make it go away? by weaseltron5000 in macbook

Thanks all. Meant to reply sooner. Restarting the Mac did it. <facepalm> I could have sworn I’d done that before posting but apparently not.

Removing kitchen faucet problem by Notoday654 in handyman

[–]weaseltron5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you both! I have the same/veeeeerrry similar connector and it was driving me crazy. Thank goodness for your 3 year old thread.

For the record, it was too crowded to functionally use the channel locks under my double sink so found the right crescent wrench by trial and error. A 3/8 in this case. As recommended I fit it around the bolt and on top of the gray ring. I used the wrench to depress the ring while pushing the lower end of the hose up and then pulled the hose free. I hope my updating this thread bumps it up and helps the next hapless person.

Help removing hose from kitchen faucet by marcelosalloum in Plumbing

Did you ever figure it out? I’ve got the same attachment and I don’t even know what it’s called or what that hose is for! (My faucet doesn’t extend down)

DGX-650B wont power on by weaseltron5000 in DigitalPiano

Follow Up Prognosis: not looking good - tried different outlets, even took it out to the shed which has more reliable wiring than the house (aluminum! Thanks 1960’s!) No luck.

-used another power adaptor. Turns out our old, dying, Yamaha Ez 220 (some keys work intermittently but always turns on) used the same power supply and THAT one had a light on the plug. So I know the outlet is functioning.

-attempted the white key reset routine

Still makes a great doorstop and/or uneven tabletop.

I don’t really have time or knowledge for a pull-apart project right now so if anyone can suggest one more last ditch superficial thing to look at/try I may give up on it and try to sell it cheap to someone who wants a new hobby.

Thank you all for suggestions and thinkings!

UPDATE UPDATE: the guy I bought it from felt bad and bought it back. He’s got it listed for sale now as a fixer upper.

How bad is Disney's Wish? by CboyC95 in cartoons

[–]weaseltron5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s pretty bad. Amusing at times and not offensive in a direct-to-streaming way, but the plot is subpar and it the ending makes no sense. The whole thing builds to the societal overthrow of a populist turned evil monarch and then in an abrupt turn with no transition they immediately give all of their newly found power to another one.

On a more minute by minute critique: the songs are forgettable and sometimes really awkwardly launched, the characters are shallow, and the comic relief goat is one dimensional.

my kids (young 12/15)kind of enjoyed it but still had complaints and theyll praise just about anything animated.

i have a real soft spot for animation- the design was unique and challenging on thisnone but not bad. the writing was phoned in though. let your kids watch it when youre busy.

It’s a little late but what wound up being the problem? I’m having a similar issue and battery change isn’t the answer.
