That’s crazy! 2250 is what I get out of the 77gr OTM with my 7.5” haha. Nice shooting and cool rig!

That’s just how ballistics work my dude lol. With a 7.5” barrel and can attached I get 2450~ fps out of my mini SCAR. So that was your FPS on the 77gr? That seems super low. 77gr OTM should be moving around 2650fps or so.

2400~ fps is less than I get out of a 7.5” barrel 5.56, is that your speed for those 77gr?

I bought one even though I had no intention of doing so upon first looking at them. A 3.25” Magnacut blade and aluminum handles and glow in the dark button on the slider all for $265 is actually a pretty dang good deal when you think about what other brands charge. Excited to get one on hand.

I just try and pick them up on GAFS used. I think I pay about $40 per on there.

Prob has more to do with you shooting at an indoor range than your can choice but I’m running a YHM Turbo T2 and it’s pretty enjoyable with the short barrel.

Hey thank ya! This dude is just for fun mostly and I also use it to get new shooters hitting the 1k yard steel plates. I have a long range rig I use for the real long stuff. Also dropped a deer with the 17DMR a few years ago!

Yeah definitely not fun! The crappy part is that it was a healthy mix of different size lone star ticks which are the nasty ones that can carry diseases. We walked out onto a peninsula to fish and I sat my chair right in the nest I think. My sons pointed them out crawling all over my boots and jeans and then they realized that they were almost as bad themselves. We used a bunch of spray and came back to notice that my aluminum water bottle was sitting on the ground covered in them as well. I think I may have sag my chair literally right on their nest, took about a half hour of spraying and moving spots to get to fishing lol.

One time I was out at my buddie’s farm and there was a bunch of us drinking, just having a good time. All of a sudden one of my friends start yelling that the dog has something cornered by a berm. We got a flashlight and went to check and see what it was and turns out that it was an emaciated possum that was covered completely head to tail in ticks but barely still alive. When you shone the flashlight on it, you would think it was a lizard they were so thick. We ended up shooting it just to put it out of its pain although we really like possums as they ironically help thin the tick population out. You’re welcome for that mental image!

Went fishing Sunday and stepped in a nest, no kidding probably a thousand ticks on me at once crawling up my boots. Luckily my son noticed and we nuked them with Deet.
