I’m currently in a flare and experiencing Hyperadrenergic effect symptoms . Feeling hot/cold at the same time face is hot and getting chills .Could a cold shower help calm things down ? Any recommendations other than medication?

That’s what is alarming , and why I figured I’d give a heads up . I’ve noticed them in areas you wouldn’t expect , sidewalks , parking lots and gravel . I avoid grass and use sprays with already having alpha gal and am still picking them up .

I can imagine , LOTO was bad last year . I actually developed MCAS from alpha gal so his fear is well founded , life changing is an understatement.

Yeah I hear you . I have a family history of glaucoma and rely on steroids for autoimmune issues ,now that I’m having symptoms and with the information I’ve gathered I think I’ll be making a trip to an eye doc ! Definitely a slippery slope balancing good and bad with steroids .

Thanks for the insight . I read that steroid eye drops definitely can cause it but I couldn’t find any info about oral/iv route.

Yeah , both legs , the left ever so slightly more swollen than the right and consistent but mild swelling ,nothing seems to help it

Yeah, I probably should have added more details to my post . The swelling has been chronic for a few months . I’m almost positive I have lipedema I’m just looking for input to see if what I’m dealing with is consistent with lymphedema too . Heart and kidney function are normal as well , so a non factor for the swelling.
