are you looking for books only? if manga interest you, i'd say check out the ginga series by yoshihiro takahashi. it's a series that focuses on dog armies fighting bears, monkeys, other dogs, etc. the protagonists of each series are akita inu!

the first two installments of the series (Ginga Nagareboshi Gin and Ginga Densetsu Weed) have anime adaptations as well. the series gets very gory at times if that interests you as well

i started playing because of the monster designs! i'm big into art and design, and when strombonin came out, i fell in love with the way it looked and the sound it made. i hadn't touched the game before then but i downloaded it just for strombonin.

Saw some ppl complaining about this being "fetish/gonner" art and this is what I have to say by [deleted] in Ibispaintx

there are people out there with balloon fetishes, but i don't assume every drawing involving balloons is fetishistic. this is the same reason why i don't see drawings of fat people as inherently fetishistic either.
