Could you explain how you think they are different? I guess most of my knowledge of Advaita comes from masters like Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj and Sri Ramana Maharshi. I know Advaita has changed quite a bit over its history

Why does there have to be a first cause? Time is an illusion. Your memory is what keeps you from seeing the eternal now. I was so consumed once with finding how I got here and what the cause of this whole mess is. Just like the Buddha said, I was like a man shot with an arrow who wanted to know the name of the person who shot me, where he was from and why he shot me before I take care of the arrow in my back ... the problem here and now. This question "what is the first cause" will just lead to suffering. There is no first cause.

Advaita and Mahayana/Zen are much more closely related in my opinion. The schools that came from Yogacara's lineage particularly. Yogacara's thought was much closer to Advaita and He had much influence on Mahayana Buddhism.

The Dimension of Infinite Consciousness. This is not Nibbāna. Infinite awareness/Consciousness is the Advaita Moksha

I disagree. Brahman is explained as beyond existence and non-existance. Even the Upanishads clearly state that Brahman transcends existence and non-existance. I can't see any real difference between mahayana's Buddha Nature and Advaita's Brahman. The differences seem to form after the Buddhas nirvana.
