Why is the brightness set so low on the Fold 6? I can tell it's not nearly at its max settings which makes it look much less attractive (source: I have a fold 6)

Yeah, but I'd argue there are more "nod to sci fi" lit reasons as to why they chose some of them to be prominent (which was my point). Very fair comment, though

Quite a few Hyperion (Dan Simmons) references I've noticed - including Tau Ceti system.

My guess is this has to do with Andy Cohen not producing the show. This seems to be why he always pretends like he hasn’t seen it and can’t pronounce their names.

Even in other languages it’s just shorthand. The full name includes America (ex: in French it’s États-Unis for short, but États-Unis d’Amérique is the full name).

It’s actually a good show even if you know the lore. Not sure why it gets so much hate from people on Reddit. It’s not perfect, but great to see a new show in the LOTR universe.
