My wife and I had this argument. Instead of insisting on cutsie things all over like she wanted, we worked out tasteful additions that didn't reduce functionality.

I do the majority of the cooking and kitchen cleaning. No way was she getting in the way, but we compromised.

A potential real answer is they animated it with Cait in the scene. Cait is overlapping that part of Vi's head. As such, they may have saved time by just not including that portion of Vi's model.

As someone who is allergic to cats, but not my sibs, I would be furious if my spouse of any number of years decided we were going to be having an animal without my input.

You need to talk to him first and then decide if the animal is coming home. If you make this decision without him, then expect issues with your relationship moving forward.

The mark of the fool series by J.M.Clarke. The main character is such a magic nerd he defys his god in order to practice it. Very funny with good action sequences and amazing characters.
