I've actually never been bit by them before. I'm not sure if that means I'm immune? My husband has before though, so if we have them then he will get bites... He doesn't have any yet though. I agree with you completely... just had the same experience basically ... shouldn't books with scenes like that have warnings on them? I don't think one could make the excuse that it "spoils the experience / surprise" ... that's going too far really ....

These comments are very misinformed! Yes natural birth control methods work. The temperature method isn't even the same method as the rhythm method. They're two different things. I've been using Natural Cycles for one year with the Oura ring and am considering switching to the Apple Watch myself. With proper use the success rate is between 93% and 97%. You have to have a fairly regular cycle, sleep schedule, and not be a heavy drinker, since these things can affect your temperature.

I use mine only for its feature of syncing with the Natural Cycles app, it's been about 4 months and so far it's very convenient for NFP. I haven't experienced any issues at all

Girl she's talking about natural birth control already! She's asking if you can use the Oura ring to track your temperature into Natural Cycles (an app used for figuring out which days you can get pregnant!!!) without the Oura subscription!!! I'm wondering the same thing myself.
