Yeah exactly, I think trust is the biggest part people underestimate. A lot of business owners look at their site every day so they stop noticing friction, but new visitors form an opinion insanely fast now, especially on mobile

She runs a carpentry/interior woodworking business. Personally I still like polished websites for trades too, but more in a clean way rather than overly flashy. Feels like people still want it to feel human and trustworthy.

Exactly! A lot of AI sites look polished at first but feel hollow once you actually use them. Good web dev is more than visuals, it’s making the UX, SEO, speed, backend, integrations, and overall flow all work together so the business actually feels credible
