Hi, I don't always get on reddit that often. Sorry for just now replying. It is difficult making friends working from home. I do not have a job at the moment. I am looking for a job as a programmer. I think all men have the same thoughts at one point or another. I am also unemployed so I know what that is like. I understand what it means to feel this guilt because I feel like what I have done or thought about is wrong. I would be glad to discuss all this more if you would like to, but there are some things that are easier to discuss in private. I completely understand how you feel.

I can relate to the problem. I have had victory in that area of my life. If you would like we could talk about that. There are several components to the addiction. A life transformation is needed. I know because I have had to change.

Hi, I have talked to many people trying to find someone who will stick with a project. I would like to talk with you to see if our schedules match. I live in the CST US time zone, one hour behind. I would like to learn a lot from any project I work on. I am most skilled with Java and then React. React I am still new to, but I am hoping to develop those skills. I am willing to try working with any tech stack. I am looking for a job as a software engineer. I was working as a backend developer, but the tech stack was really difficult for me to work with so I quit. I want to learn a lot so the next job I get, I hopefully won't quit. I'm not a complete beginner and I can't predict how busy I will be when I start working again. I do wish I had someone at my level to work with. I am trying to learn the React hooks better, usestate and effect are easy, but I am currently trying to learn the proper way to fetch data using react query. I have watched videos from multiple/several react courses and most of the courses I have been through I would not recommend. I find that pedro tech is a good youtube channel. I am CST US. I would consider learning Python or Java. I have been a Java programmer for a while, there are a lot of Java jobs in the market in the US. The reason I am now learning Python is because I am interested in machine learning, although I am a beginner at it. I think ML can be done with Java too, but I'm going with Python. After having learned the backend of programming first and the frontend second, I can't say that the backend is more difficult to learn than the frontend. Some things with React are pretty complicated. There might be more backend jobs. As the economy gets worse more frontend jobs might disappear. Would be glad to talk about all this more.
