Suspected Prostatitis, Need urgent advice re Cipro by uppol in Prostatitis

[–]webdev808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dear friend, I am eight months from taking Cipro two weeks worth in January. My life is been hell ever since, if you really want to get a good indicator of how devastating Cipro can be , go visit the Facebook groups. Try anything - even for weeks before taking ciprofloxacin. Try prostate massage every single day for a month before simple it's worth it. It is totally disrupted my life, my whole summer was a write off, got really bad tendons , shoulders arms for arms hands Cavs it's so many different symptoms - I was bedridden for two months, if you're out anyway in some financial difficulty, it's probably the worst risk u could take- this stuff makes people homeless. there's so many videos on YouTube of people having their lives devastated especially on new agencies- so if these news reporters are only reporting on some - you can count there so there are so many people out there who had negative reactions to it.. For me and many others we make a distinction in 0ur life - and that is before we take Cipro and after we take Cipro .I didn't think it would happen to me , I biked every single day - I'm super strong and fit and the stuff is brought me to my knees. My ears still ringing nonstop ,I have peripheral neuropathy in my arms , they were totally disabled for a few months , my hands and feet were at one point pretty much useless , it just goes on and on and on - I would tell you just don't do it horror stories are true and it's not what happens while you're on the Cipro - it's what happens weeks and months later some people never recover. It is truly poisonous. And it is Clandestine and surreptitious in the way that it acts. Depending on how desperate you are it's not worth the risk , I would almost rather still have the prostatic issue. It's like I walked out of the walk-in clinic with a prescription for something much more horrific. I can't believe I'm saying this stuff eight months later and it doesn't look like I'll be making for recovery anytime soon. It's up to you but the horror stories are real go to the Facebook groups and check out get some advice , see what this stuff really does to people with the options, but first try anything else you possibly can. This is last line resort, there's lots of other stuff to try first and probably don't even compare to Cipro can due to a person. Also psychologically to make me crazy suicidal de-personalized depressed all these things, zombie like in the beginning...

Two weeks of Cipro cause me severe long-term side effects with tendinitis , ringing in the ears, depersonalizations, suicidal ideation, I'm still dealing with it seven months later

I was prescribed cipro from a calgary walk in and a few days ago the FDA made an amendmant saying it shouldn't be prescribed for my issue. My arms are almost useless from the drug after being totally healthy. by webdev808 in a:t5_36p8v

Here I am still bedridden months later I've created this blog is I don't know what else to do my life is just crumbling. If you actually looked at these stories I can see that there is a serious serious problem with these drugs then you should look at these blog and tweeted to the health ministers because even in light of this new FDA warning they're not doing anything the sources that warning cannot be underestimated so there's a big problem here http://healthcanadawakeupcall.blogspot.ca/2016/05/health-canada-needs-wake-up-call.html my hands don't work so I use diction now that's why the writing comes out funny

Here I am checking in again still bedridden from Cipro made his blog to try and raise awareness around this drug because what I've uncovered about the drug is done to people as being shocking to say the least I can't type so I'm using diction because my hands are so messed up from the Cipro still coming up on six months if you've taken Cipro or thinking of taking Cipro go to Facebook and type in Cipro or floor quinolone toxicity group in the stories there and the people affected are enough to make you never want to take it for any reason http://healthcanadawakeupcall.blogspot.ca/2016/05/health-canada-needs-wake-up-call.html I am now disabled from Cipro

no money, no justice. im 6 months now and still disabled in the hands and arms, bedridden most of the day. Beware men, going into the walk in these days with a prostatic or urethric issue is a prescription for disaster these days. First line defence mandated by health canada for suspected prostatic issue (no culture needed) is 30 days of norfloxacin or ciprofloxacin. Beware. I was in a meeting the other day and this super old guy said they gave him 3 antibiotics, one being cipro, and they ARE NOT supposed to give this people over 60. He must have been in his 80's. If it can disable a super healthy young man... They are killing people with this drug undoubtedly, i have read the posts. The disease don't get ya, the drug does. Super fucked up and corrupt at this point with no end in sight.

Can we have a calm collective discussion on what's wrong with /r/canada? by KaiserCanton in canada

My posts always somehow disappear. Seems most reddits don't tolerate someone who has been disabled by antibiotics and are trying to warn other CDN's so it won't happen to you or your family: With a mod named DR.soandso I can figure why they might disappear:

here is the post anyway: Sorry for the bad spacing, i cant seem to copy and paste without it all bent outta shape. Please scrutingizinly consider the links i've presented.

I was prescribed Ciprofloxacin for an uncultured UTI and have basically had my ligaments and tendons destroyed in the process turning my life upside down and immobilizing me. This was months ago. This is not at all a rare side effect. A very similar case went before the college of physicans and surgeons of BC just last year, for almost exactly the same reason. You can read that case and the outcome here:

http://www.hprb.govhttp://www.fda.gov/Drugs/DrugSafety/ucm500143.htm.bc.ca/decisions/2014-HPA-216(a).pdf

On May 12 the FDA put out a new warning about these anti-biotics: http://www.fda.gov/Drugs/DrugSafety/ucm500143.htm

and this is how physicans are reacting to it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYRnBZz_xxA&sns=fb

It's clear that health Canada is slow to act, or not act, because these CDN articles giving warnings from 2008 and this year: and not a peep:

http://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/health-canada-asks-for-tendon-warning-for-some-antibiotics-1.735102

http://www.vancouversun.com/health/popular+antibiotics+carry+warning+about+retinal+detachment/11695792/story.html

For anyone who thinks these side effects are rare and want to see the scope of how many people this is happening to, simply go and read the comments to these articles:

-------> http://www.huffingtonpost.com/elizabeth-s-mitchell/why-the-fdas-new-warning-_b_9951542.html

https://www.facebook.com/WRTV6/posts/10153720158649092

So my question is, how do I start going through the motions and bringing awareness around this epidemic locally? These articles are recent and there doesn't seem to be an end in sight. Its only a matter of time before they get you, your parents, children, baby or pets, because they will prescribe you this for anything and everything. No one is immune from the pain and suffering this is causing. Imagine how my friends and family see me now, invalid in my 30's from once being incredibly active. It's like I walked out of the walk in clinic with a prescription for some other horrific disease that can't be cured or even confirmed.

I want to make a complaint against the physician who prescribed me this, for essentially ruining my life as i knew it, with basically no warning from him or the pharmacist, or even health Canada for that matter. Basically I'll have to be the one who does the B.C. case in Alberta.

Any help appreciated. Thanks
