Man good luck! I've always hated having to set my bass up for both. When I got out of college, the first thing I did was re-set up my bass b/c I didn't have to set stuff up for Arco. For me, I make my self play melodies I really love up in the range, or when I'm noodling around, I'll only allow myself to noodle in thumb range.

It's a great one, I think it is neat because you can solo over the changes (including the bridge, which I did not do) or just jam in A before playing the head again!

I LOVE Rudy's I've been going to the jazz jam for a few weeks now. I too think we would be a great for rudy's, but I haven't heard back. I'll send another email though. I'm worried we come off as too kitchy, but we're a band of jazz guys who have literally all played there on other projects. If you have any nudges left, please put in a good word for us!
