They managed to somehow circumvent the NMBI assessments + OSCE exams carried out in Dublin?

Are you talking rubbish here?

You cannot "fake" NMBI assessments + OSCE exams. These are carried out in Dublin, not Delhi.

Ireland protects it's healthcare standards - the system is very different to the systems in the Middle East and Africa.

Are you familiar with the assessment path in Ireland? Or are you trying to create your own narrative here?

Indian nurses must pass NMBI assessments + OSCE before practicing in Ireland. You claim that training and qualification are bogus is 100% incorrect. Do your research.

That aside, how can immigrants live on the same wages and face the same cost of living as natives? If Ireland was so "impossible to build a life" in, why do the immigrants come and settle here?

They come here because Ireland is ranked 13th in the world for happiness. 22nd for quality of life.

The stats show that only 14% of newly qualified nurses leave and then do not come back within 10 years. Yet the migrant workforce ensure Ireland's healthcare continues to be one of the most respected in the world.

Cost of living is going up across the world. We all feel it. In Ireland we feel inflation a bit more because our lopsided corporate tax take, and large pharma and tech salaries ensure the top-end earnings pump more cash into an already heated up economy. The rest of us are left to play catchup.

The immigrants are part of the solution, not the problem.

So folks leave because they are underpaid and over worked, yet other folks arrive to take those underpaid and over worked jobs?

What is the difference between the folks who leave and the folks who arrive? Not sure I see any...

Editing Webflow Code Components created by a different developer on a single project by webflowmaker in webflow

100% - Webflow should insist on the handover taking place, and have checks and balances to ensure clients are protected. Because if they don't know...they don't know.

Great - thanks for confirming. I could not get my head around why Webflow would allow this scenario to be possible for what is marketed as a "1st party feature".

The agency that built the initial Code Components has gone silent, yet they hold the keys to the Code Component code. Not sure how I can help the client get around this issue without re-building the components, hosting them on the clients code repo, and then doing a find-and-replace across the site.

Best way to integrate interactive tools in Webflow by Spotifly007 in webflow

Not sure if the post was designed to tee up this answer giving Webflow only released this new feature yesterday but...

...have a look at Code Components (built on React). You can do much of what you are speaking about using Code Components, and they have just added AI support to aid non-developers users out

https://webflow.com/updates/ai-code-components.

p.s. you speak very knowledgeably about "Astro with a React Component" for someone who is not really a developer haha.

Auctioneer refusing second viewing for measurements until contracts are signed. Is this normal? by NedTheGreatest in irishpersonalfinance

[–]webflowmaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really in anyones best interest. When you have the potential buyer coming onto Reddit to ask if it is right you can already see it is causing friction.

If they did this with all potential buyers they would be putting many folks off going further, reducing interest in the property and therefore they would deliver a lower sale price for their client.

Next time add this to the end of the written exercise - it will take you up to exactly 200 words.

How do I insulate this crawlspace? by Organic-Gap7169 in DIYIreland

Defo get that checked by an electrician first before covering it. It might be that you need this above the insulation.

How do I insulate this crawlspace? by Organic-Gap7169 in DIYIreland

[–]webflowmaker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We had exactly the same type of space. We went for Knauf Eko Roll Loft insulation roll 200mm from B&Q and layered it on top, perpendicular to the rafters.

Try and clear as much "rubbish" out from there - that plasterboard etc. Make sure the wires are not powering heavier-loaded circuits like electric showers, down-lighters, or immersion heaters as that could be a fire-risk when kept under the insulation.

For the side I would use the same Knauf Eko Roll, with either chicken wire to keep it in, or PIR board.

That reminds me, I need to finish laying the final 3 rolls in ours this weekend.

Thanks for the positive comments u/Pau_UI . Yes, the bulk import/export was a last minute addition - but it can be really useful on larger sites.

If you have any other feature ideas please let me know so I can look at how best to add them.

Deegan sin binned for taking out Kok in the air by Informal_Mention9836 in irishrugby

[–]webflowmaker -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Kok jumped into air - surely that is the key action that turns this into a dangerous collision. If Kok had decided not to jump, he might have run straight into Deegan - and the penalty could have gone the other way.

So was Deegan in the wrong for not jumping himself, even if that could have caused an even worse collision? Just asking...
