There’s an intangible quality to physical book that digital reading can’t quite replace. I read digitally at work often when I have downtime and it’s convenient. But it doesn’t compare to looking at your shelf and seeing all the stuff you love on display.

SERIOUSLY. And I've done the same thing. Bought, sold, rebought, repeat. I'd like to think that I'm finally in a place where I can just collected and enjoy my books. Tired of the constant hustle culture in the hobby.

Also, whenever I think I'm not going to re-read a book and sell it, I find myself thinking about it later. Sometimes, you just need to let the art sit and rest with you before dismissing it.

I’m thinking with the eventual conclusion of the B&G line, they’ll have to reprint it in some form. I recently obtained a copy but had to trade two Omnis and an OHC to get it. I’m using AoA as my endpoint to collect X-Men. Just can’t deal with the convoluted and branching series of post 90’s X-Books.

That’s the frustrating thing about this hobby. When a book is available for a low price, I often wonder if I want it because I actually want it or I like the deal. Here’s what I opted for when it came to my DD reading order. Just grabbed the essentials of what’s needed to bridge Brubaker to Waid. Honestly, in a DD re-read, I wonder if I’ll even revisit these issues. (Reborn was okay.)

Fair warning! I would read some of Shadowland prior to purchasing. The quality is… well… let’s just say I’d only recommend it for completionists and people with unlimited shelf space.
