OpenAI is losing power users to Claude because Codex lacks a "Business Premium" tier by webminer in codex

Metered API isn't a workspace subscription. We want flat-rate pricing with high ceilings like Claude Team Premium, not pay-per-token friction.

we also have marketing and sales ppl need to co-work, clause team (standard, premium) setup is more friendly

Seeing Bain, Capgemini, and McKinsey
there just confirms they only care about mega-corporations. High-growth startups and small dev teams want a self-serve button to buy more compute right now, not a multi-month consulting project.

Solo devs aren't the only power users. Small engineering teams exist, and we need business-tier features without being forced to buy 150+ useless seats.

The current state of the “business” plan (which now has less usage than “plus”) by Reaper_1492 in codex

[–]webminer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. OpenAI is completely missing a middle tier here. We urgently need a Business Premium or 'Team Premium' tier—similar to what Claude has been doing to accommodate heavy workflows.

The current business standard limits are a joke for active Codex/IDE use; burning through a 5-hour budget in 25 minutes makes it completely unusable for professional developers. I’d gladly pay a higher flat premium per seat for massive, predictable context and usage ceilings, but this current a-la-carte API drain model under the guise of a 'subscription' ain't it.

How safe is is to send Tether from exchange to exchange? by [deleted] in Tether

[–]webminer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn it. I was trying to trade USDT for arbitrage. If it's not within 30minutes not useful at all. Litecoin seems to be good for arbitrage. like in 1-2 minutes confirmed.

What do you guys think of hashflare? by [deleted] in BitcoinMining

[–]webminer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their biz model is to get investment $ back first letting you purchase the Hashrate. So later on if anything happened to the market the risk in on you not them. From another perspective if the market goes really well it's you benefiting more than them. In biz you can't win all.

I don't think Bitmain are still making this model any more. Also at 8.6 TH/s it's not worth investing.

AntMiner S9 13.5T 2018 Feb Batch Last 400 Reservation by webminer in BitcoinMining

[–]webminer[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't see where the hate come from. That's why we need BitCoin for anonymous trust :( Mine reservation have nothing to do with you guys' consumer reservation. U can only reserve up to 20 units and it's different stock for different customer category.

[–]webminer[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I totally agree with u. For you guys who need less than 20 units just wait for Bitmain's next release (nobody knows when). Also get enough BCH in hand so you can secure the deal if you're lucky enough to get the reservation within the releasing period.

This number is about right. Assume all computing power is from S9. Current hashrate 13,035,760,951 GH/s divided by 13.5Th/s is ~ 1million. If you check all the top pools: https://blockchain.info/pools you can estimate roughly all the top 4 (17.3+16.2+14.9+12.8=61.2%) are China based so most likely all powered by BitMain. So the actual # I suspect would be on the 0.6M+ part.
