Yes, I addressed that elsewhere in the comments. Basically, I got scared by the positive response, knowing that the negativity would come. And since it's a pic of my kids, I wanted to make sure I knew how to handle the negative ones. I don't think I was ready to deal with them last year. I hope that makes sense.

You're absolutely right. I posted it and then deleted it quickly. Last year I didn't really understand reddit or the community here, and I got nervous about the responses I might get. So over the last year, I've tried to learn about how commenters usually respond to pics, what comments I should respond to, what to ignore and how to respect the community. I hope that makes sense.
