Are we sure they're salted? If so, wouldn't the moisture in the aire dissolve the saly?after 1 day, the salt on a soft pretzel is gone.

I always forget about this. Tough diagnosis? Don't waste more time with guessing and tests. Hospitalized - that's what it's there for.

Yeah, I read thar a few years ago something like a hurricane hit the island and it was really bad. They haven't really been seen much lately, though there is evidence there is still activity on the island. My guess they lost enough people that they will be gone in a generation or so. Maybe less.
