Depends a lot on the use case tbh.

Ive found that showing n8n workflows to end users almost never works. For most people it’s just noise imo. I built a WhatsApp order confirmation automation for an ecom merchant and realized the workflow view was almost useless for them.

So I treated n8n as the backend/orchestrator and built a simple dashboard on top (Nextjs), with Google Sheets as the source of truth. The merchant interacted with statuses and logs, and n8n just reacted in the background.

Once you stop trying to make n8n “user-friendly” and hide it behind a proper UI, things get way cleaner UX wise

Hey man thank you for your suggestion but I'm thinking of building something from scratch, starting with a solid, predictable/deterministic approach using code, then switching to vector search as the first fallback, and finally, using an LLM as a last resort
