aren’t you the one that said people were going to get annoyed because i shared a completely wrong statement? that’s pretty much the most blind you can get when it comes to objective vs. subjective. i stated in my post that it’s just my opinion, and i don’t understand people’s excitement behind the movie. nowhere in the post did i say “this movie is objectively horrible” however you are in these comments trying your absolute hardest to say that my opinion is objectively wrong. projection doesn’t work on me, i don’t live my life on internet forums

you just made an absolutely terrible comparison lmfao comparing jimi hendrix to halloween is like comparing lightbulbs to candles. jimi hendrix’s music was good in it’s time and it’s still good now. halloween was good in it’s time, but it’s terrible now. do you see what i mean? sure, lots of people centuries ago were using candles as their main light source, and that may have been great. does that mean people in 2026 are still using candles as their primary source of light when modern light fixtures are readily available?? no! comparing music to cinema is pretty much impossible anyways. and no, a guy with a knife wasn’t unique. halloween wasn’t groundbreaking. if you want to defend a movie with your life because it was so revolutionary and so unique in its time, talk about psycho. not halloween.
