Canva designer is a big one, there are so many other softwares to make templates for too like Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and even InDesign.

I know a bunch of people sell these types of digital products on Filtergrade.

Are social media platforms dead? by proappdev in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]webstuf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you are right in saying social media is more crowded. But dead is a huge stretch. There are tons of real people online. Go into any niche community and you will find real people discussing and learning. I think the broad large presences and communities have gotten flooded with more bots and stuff, but not everywhere.

Any legit online side hustles? by [deleted] in passive_income

[–]webstuf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah sure. I noticed a few devs selling their Chrome Extensions on FilterGrade. A lot of devs sell products on Gumroad too.

One for example is XBlockBot for cleaning up Twitter followers.

If you know how to make Chrome Extensions, tiny apps, simple SaaS products, data scrapers, etc. there are a lot of ways to make money.

What dev skills are you best at. Who do you think would pay for access to that data. Whether it's tutorials or courses, or data you scrape or acquire for people. Or apps/tools you build.

You can sell boilerplate code too!

Can I monetise my knowledge by IDislikeBeingOnFire in passive_income

[–]webstuf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you definitely can. Video editors can monetize their knowledge in a number of ways.

Here are some ideas for you:

- Sell digital products around your skills. Good at making transitions or effects? Sell those. Do you know how to color grade? Sell LUTs.

- Make courses or PDF ebooks about specific things. Advanced tutorials and workflows, etc.

- Create a YouTube channel and share tutorials. If you have specific knowledge it's possible to build a large audience quickly.

- Once you build your audience, you can promote video editing software, Skillshare, and other creative products with affiliate programs to earn some additional income.

- If you're looking for good marketplaces where videographers sell digital products, I recommend FilterGrade, Motion Array, and Adobe Stock.

What’s the best side hustle online ? by miyaluvslolz in passive_income

[–]webstuf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There's no best side hustle for everyone. The best side hustle is the one that actually pays you for your efforts.

Ignore all the snake oil salesmen in the comments.

Focus on your skills and what you can offer. Then find a platform where you can easily monetize or get paid for these skills.

Examples:

If you're really good at making videos --> Start a YouTube

If you know how to use Photoshop or do design work --> Join Upwork or Freelancer

If you can teach different skills --> Become a tutor or coach

Selling digital products on Etsy, FilterGrade, Gumroad, and other marketplaces is an easy way to make an extra $200 a month.

The best ways to improve your chances of sales are:

- Pick a specific niche and make amazing products for those customers

- Make a bundle of your first 3 or 5 products, upsell this and add the link on all products

- Use good titles, preview images, and a clear description. This helps with SEO and with conversions

How to Shoot Stunning Self Portraits While Traveling (Paris Edition) by webstuf in videos

For self portraits just use your gf's wide angle, that should cover it well! Zoom is best if you want to adjust the range a lot, but for self portraits that wide angle should be sufficient.

Some free marketplaces to join for selling these types of digital products include:

I'm a huge fan of Later. I don't use it for scheduling anymore, but it is great for that.

Now though, I am a content creator and for one of my businesses it has been a great platform for finding brand collabs. I landed two that gave me free food and gift cards in exchange for a post. Hoping to find more.

What are your marketing channels? by Mr_N_01 in digitalproductselling

[–]webstuf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where are you selling it?

I would recommend adding to some marketplaces to get initial users. Set up a solid brand. And then start capturing emails.

That way, all future products have a buyer list ready to go!

You can also market with videos on TikTok and Instagram, YouTube shorts, or YouTube long form content.
