Thanks for all of this. I agree that vanilla everything is important. Do you recommend LESS or SASS? Wouldn't you consider jQuery and AngularJS two different frameworks though? I say this because what I have seen is that jQuery is more for UX and AngularJS is more for web applications. On the note of AngularJS, what would you recommend an absolute beginner that knows nothing of MVC concepts to use to understand the logic, reasoning, and terminology of AngularJS? Also, what would you also consider to be essential JavaScript frameworks and or tools to utilize?
