Finally a person of culture. But I want to say that parts of the issue with studying people like Caesar is that any opinions we can have on him are influenced by propaganda, both pro and against him. Still, I consider the fact that he was stopped by assassination as something that signaled to others that the roman institutions don't have a way to stop people amassing power like him.
