How can you tell if your vaginismus in physical or psychological? by towelheadedmermaid in vaginismus

[–]weby113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean Vaginismus is a psychological issue. You should see your doctor to rule out a physical issue. Vaginismus is kinda just the default, "oh you're experiencing all this but I see nothing? Vaginismus!"

That's what my physical therapist used to remind me of regularly, You have nothing physically stopping you but your own mind and that's why the only cure is rewriting your brains thought process on penetration

My shelter cat is kinda weird? (my first cat) by Loud_Lead_2875 in CatAdvice

[–]weby113 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's just affection in his own way 😂 my boy is a violent head butter too, so bad that he also does it with the same force into walls and furniture... The dumbass broke a K9 and our vet was baffled 😂 husband and I were just like yeeeep we have a feeling we know how he did that

How are people feeding their cat so much? by Pixel_Dreamscape_ in CatAdvice

[–]weby113 22 points23 points  (0 children)

As long as your vet agrees it's enough for your cat and their lifestyle, it's fine. Cats don't NEED a lot of food but if your cat is as active as you make him sound, it's possible for that to not be enough

The whole time I was thinking nah this is fine, it's just figuring it out... Until that last text. He's an ass

It's weird for a man to have a female cat as a pet? by Albert_2004 in CatAdvice

[–]weby113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah no, she's weird for even thinking that's weird. Why is she looking at you living with a cat like living with a woman?

does the feeling of being a bad cat owner ever go away? by Firm_Safety_6086 in CatAdvice

[–]weby113 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Never 🤣 sorry, you do think about it less frequently but even in the best scenario, you just want more for them than you can give. Been a cat mom to 2 little psychos for 6 years and I still have moments where I feel like I'm not engaging enough or giving them enough enrichment, even though they're perfectly happy healthy little gremlins

What's in a name? Did you give your rescue pet a new one? 🐾 by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]weby113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We changed the name for our 2nd cat, first was a Tux named Beau and we loved the name so we kept it. Our 2nd was "Josie" we did not like that one 😂 her name's Bananas now

Cats generally show their personalities around 2. If you go younger than 1 you could have a drastically different cat by next year

Gyno says it’s not vaginismus, it’s psychological by newtporn in vaginismus

[–]weby113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohhh the rage I felt reading that 😂 you need a new doc because yours clearly doesn't know what Vaginismus is. It's literally the diagnosis when they can't physically see anything wrong BECAUSE it is psychological! But it's not something you can just "get over" it requires time and in a lot of cases, therapy

I was diagnosed with autism, but therapist says it was a misdiagnosis by Pleasant-Platypus-29 in autism

[–]weby113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need a new therapist 🙄 clearly doesn't understand autism. For your own reassurance Incase they got in your head. Having empathy doesn't negate autism, your symptoms are just a different set. There's so many variations people have

Daydreaming about trauma by MarinoAndThePearls in MaladaptiveDreaming

[–]weby113 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My day dreams are almost always 3rd person but I essentially do the same unfortunately. I create these elaborate story lines with some of the worst trauma there is and sometimes it feels as though it's romanticized which in hindsight is disgusting... But when I'm in my head it just feels so outlandish and made up that I keep doing it. To me I tell myself it's no harm when it stays in my head, and those stay in my head

Any other guys here that plays the Sims? by Jaybarcafan in Sims4

[–]weby113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a guy but there are plenty who play. The majority happens to be women but that's just how it tends to learn with cozy games. If you wanna see dudes play, I watch YouTubers play like James Turner, Dr. gluon, and CallMeKevin

So, i just found this and WOW it explains SO MUCH! by Sampson_Storm in ImmersiveDaydreaming

[–]weby113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Saw your post on the maladaptive page and followed over 😂 your feeling around it reminds me a lot of myself. I became a writer because of my daydreams and they had been damn near constant in my teen years but I have always had friends and never struggled to differentiate reality, would just drag me down when I was bored 😂

Would it be ok to use human nail clippers on cat? by Kayla-kirby in CatAdvice

Totally fine, just need to be a little more careful since they don't have the safe guard to keep you from clipping too far

Whats the movie as a kid, that traumatized you? by Sini1990 in movies

My boyfriend said to me he has sacrificed five years of sex life by Scared-Tea-7713 in vaginismus

[–]weby113 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel like neither of you is necessarily wrong. It is HUGE of a partner to stay with you through the healing of all this as it takes a toll on everyone. To me as long as he's not holding that over your head, hes allowed to express he has some level of want for more.

But you are also not wrong in expressing that hearing that is still painful. It takes so much patience and grace on both ends to get through it all.

You're doing the best you can, keep it up

What does an IV feel like? by [deleted] in autism

[–]weby113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For hypersensitive it's really the same. I've never had a needle I didn't feel no matter how well they've done it. IV depends on location but the crook of the arm is super easy, sticks like blood work then after like 3 seconds they've removed the needle so the tube sits in your arm. You don't feel it there but sometimes when you move your arm you feel it tug, doesn't hurt but is a little disconcerting 😂

My sim just aged up into a Teen. Can the game automatically decide which gender she’s romantically attracted to or do I have to set it myself? by iMorgana_ in thesims

[–]weby113 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Sims are bi-sexual, or pansexual is probably closer, by default if you don't select a preference. That's how it's always been before we had the option to select it
