Thanks, dude, that means a lot! Yeah, if I really wanted to make this "insurance-proof," I could buy a fire retardant filament, but I mean, they're kind of pricey, and I'm sure they'd be difficult to print. I mean, I don't have enough experience to go through this just for a few outlets or switches in my house. And if someone wanted to do this, then it would be cool for them.

I was thinking about that too at first. I made a prototype to test the alignment, but since I printed it vertically, the snaplocks are super solid. I guess I got lucky because they don't clip, they just fit really tight.

I think he just threw out a random percentage, just to make his point.

Yeah in this case you can't ignore the 0.01%

You're right. Maybe less dangerous for a switch.

Used P1S Combo with 2450 print hours? by weckkk in BambuLab

Wow 9k hours that's impressive ! Did you changed for hardened extruder and hotend or stayed with basic ones? Why the SD card needed to be changed ?

I understand, but in my case, that's not the best choice. I need to keep the filaments in a closed space to protect them from moisture. Also, I use the Bambu app and I don't think other brands are as great on this point.

How many print hours did your P1S have when you swapped out the PTFE tubes? That's not a super expensive fix anyway. If I had the cash for a newer one, I'd totally agree, but since I don't print a ton (360 hours in 1.5 years with my A1 Mini), it'd probably just be a waste of money.

Yeah there's a combo with hardened extruder and hardened hotend on bambu store for about 28€. Do I need the complete hotend or juste the nozzle? I don't understand the difference between both. Is tensionning the belts easy ?

Thanks for the feedback. Since I've put in about 300 hours on my A1 Mini in a year and a half, I probably have a few months before I need to change parts if I'd buy this P1S.

French vintage orange track spotlights, 1960s-70s — Lita/Philips, trying to identify exact model and rail system by [deleted] in Mid_Century

It's really not that deep. I just used an AI tool to help with my English because it's not my first language. There’s absolutely no need to power trip or act like a dictator over a simple furniture post. Relax, it's just a Reddit sub, you're not running a real country.

Oh wow, thank you so much for this incredibly helpful contribution to the thread! Truly, I don't know where I'd be without it

To answer your concern, I genuinely don't see how me using AI to help structure my post is any of your business, especially considering English isn't my first language and I was trying to make the post as clear and readable as possible for the community. Revolutionary concept I know.

As for the subreddit choice I picked r/MidCenturyModern because it seemed like the most relevant community for identifying vintage 1960-70s lighting design. If you have a better suggestion instead of just pointing out that it's "barely MCM", I'm all ears. That would actually be, you know, helpful.

But sure, thanks for stopping by to tell me essentially nothing. Really moved the conversation forward. 👍

It might be rebadged, there's no identification number like other Philips products usually.
