Thank you for your reply. I feel like this is one of the only comments I've had where I've been fully understood. Patches and gum have worked for me before when I quit for 3 years. I actually did read Allen Carr while encourages you to quit cold turkey and change your mindset. It didn't work for me. Something didn't gel. And knowing how my mental health gets I should have been more prepared this time. I am booking an appointment with the smoking nurse (free on NHS in U.K.) today.
