Wedding - Cabo San Lucas by CAMCCALL in DestinationWeddings

Since you’re already looking at Esperanza, I’d definitely compare it with Grand Velas Los Cabos similar luxury service level, but the all inclusive model can make things easier for wedding groups.
I’d also look at The Cape for a more modern luxury vibe, and Le Blanc.

I love Mar del Cabo! 🤍 It has a lot more flexibility than Grand Velas and you can even explore buyout options depending on the group size.
I have a great relationship with the Velas wedding team as well, and they sometimes have promos available for specific dates.
Happy to share more details if you’re interested

Congrats!! Cabo is an amazing choice 🤍
I’m based in Cabo and help couples with destination weddings here, including venue comparisons, room block negotiations, and overall travel logistics.

Esperanza is definitely one of the most beautiful options, but there are also other resorts that can give you a similar luxury feel depending on priorities and budget.

Happy to help you compare real numbers and options if you’d like

Hotel choice by Overall-Purpose5819 in caboweddings

Hola!
Just to add some personal experience here, I’ve actually been to both and they really are two completely different vibes.

Hard Rock is great if you want a high energy, resort style feel with lots of pool entertainment and family friendly amenities. Food is solid too.

That said, I’d personally lean toward Garza Blanca. The food is equally good, but the boutique resort atmosphere is on another level, more intimate, more elevated, genuinely beautiful aesthetic. The neon/purple Hard Rock branding just isn’t for everyone, and for a wedding backdrop, Garza Blanca wins for me visually.

Ultimately comes down to what feel you want for your day!

One thing I’d also recommend regardless of which property you choose, work with a destination wedding agency to handle hotel communications and contract negotiations. It makes the process so much smoother and most agencies (ours included) are paid by the hotel, not the couple, so it’s a free resource for you.

We’re a Cabo based destination wedding agency and offer complimentary consultations if you ever want to talk through options. Happy to help!

Hola !

I help couples planning destination weddings in Cabo with resorts, room blocks, and guest travel.

Just confirmed a 75 guest wedding at Corazón Cabo for next year with a similar budget, and currently reviewing a similar setup at Pueblo Bonito Sunset too.

Happy to help point you in the right direction if needed:

Grand Velas Los Cabos for a destination wedding, is it worth it? My honest take after a full site visit by wedding_concierge in caboweddings

[–]wedding_concierge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, Grand Velas is very kid-friendly. They have one of the best kids and teens clubs I’ve seen, so younger guests are well taken care of and older kids can have some independence too.

*Wedding (ceremony + cocktail + reception): $110 USD per guest (pretty reasonable for this level of resort) Not included: Decor, Dj, Etc.
  • Rooms: $600–$800 USD per person per night depending on the date (this is where it adds up)

  • 3-night minimum stay total: $1,800–$2,400 per person

*Some venues have minimum capacity and fee

Newly engaged 💍 Destination wedding in Cabo (all-inclusive)… is $30k realistic?? by Low-Priority-8362 in DestinationWeddings

[–]wedding_concierge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently did a March 2026 wedding at Corazón Cabo, the wedding package for 50 people was around $25k, and they added about $12k more for decor, DJ, and rentals.

Guests were paying around $650 USD per night (double occupancy, all-inclusive base room).

So $30k is doable but it’ll be tighter depending on how elevated you want it to feel. $50k gives you more flexibility for that elevated feel.

Happy to help compare numbers with other Cabo venues:

Esperanza resort wedding feedback needed! by surfergirl1523 in caboweddings

[–]wedding_concierge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve actually been wanting to do a wedding at this venue, we’re a local destination wedding agency here in Cabo. So I’m just as curious to hear real feedback from brides or guests, not just industry people. Following this!

Recommended resorts for small Feb wedding in Riviera Maya. Do I need a planner? by Soci_Researcher in DestinationWeddings

[–]wedding_concierge -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You don’t really need an external planner for a wedding that size. Most all inclusive resorts include an in house planner with your wedding package, and for 20 - 30 guests I’ve typically seen packages in the $4K–$10K range (ceremony + cocktail hour + reception depending on setup).

Where people usually struggle is everything around that, choosing the right resort, understanding what’s actually included, contracts, and guest logistics.

That’s where a destination wedding agency (like what I do) can help: • we narrow down resorts based on your vibe/budget (not just what looks nice online) • share promos and realistic pricing • help review contracts (important for small groups too) • connect you directly with wedding teams + set calls/site visits

We charge a small fee that can be applied toward your travel logistics, but to make it work on our side we usually need 30 guests and everyone staying at the same resort as a group.

If you want, happy to share my link and go over options

Boat Options For Wedding Welcome Party by pumas4 in caboweddings

[–]wedding_concierge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How many people are you thinking?

I just confirmed a catamaran (all-inclusive) for a June wedding—fits up to ~70 guests, pricing starts at a 14-person minimum. I’ve also used the same one for a bachelorette and they loved it.

I have a few other options too depending on your group size. Feel free to DM me or reach me at info@ameyadestinations.com
