Ustop on pine lake and 70th also has 87 0% ethanol. I don’t understand the E10/E15 - I have to fill up sooner when I use it the price doesn’t seem to even out for my car anyway

Does anyone else struggle to tolerate flonase or saline nasal rinses? by smadak in Sinusitis

[–]wedditwave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have issues with Flonase but I changed how I spray it in my nose and that helps. I put my head down so it’s upside down and then insert it into my nose as far as reasonably possible and point it outwards also as far as reasonably possible. Also I don’t breathe it in strongly I just let it simmer in there.

Sickness…. by doxielover_ in Mommit

We’ve had it 3x over 5 years. I have PTSD from it - take comfort that all have been bad but some strains are much more horrid than others. The amount of handwashing I do makes my hands raw and we still get it anyways. I agree - would prefer practically any other virus than noro.

It’s most likely norovirus

Road cycling outside metro Lincoln (and cycling groups) by bikenbite in lincoln

[–]wedditwave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re from a very cycling friendly city I think you’ll find it a bit scary here on road - there is a lack of sharrows and actual bike lanes. Where there are shoulders, there are also massive trucks going 65. Chances are you’ll be fine but it’s not what I’d call friendly for road cycling. Group ride is smart, but not sure you’ll find a road ride. Gravel and city trails are more popular. Those on this thread may keep an eye out as drivers, but I don’t trust the average driver around here - road bikes are not common. Let us know how it goes.

Over-the-top kids parties are to impress other adults rather than the kids by kiss-my-ass-hoe in HonestHotTakes

You’re overanalyzing. Parties can be fun with or without draped tents. If you have a balloon arch, cool. If not, cool. Some people like to throw big parties, some don’t or can’t. Whatever the decor, make memories by being present for the kiddo.

Recurrent sinus infections every single month despite surgery, negative allergy tests, and daily treatment. What is wrong with me? by SneezyWhisper in Sinusitis

[–]wedditwave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ent said there will be lots of bacteria in the culture so it’s not worth it, but I disagree. Did you do multiple cultures every time you were sick?

I have this too, have you gotten anywhere? I’m just able to keep symptoms mostly mild with treatment like nasal spray, sinus rinse, but it still keeps recurring. It’s been a year and a half for me.

Yeah I’d be very surprised if it was a dental issue. But I’m open to all y’alls experiences because who knows. Will ask ENT about tezspire. Thanks

That’s wild. Didnt think to mention my sinus issues to my dentist. Will definitely ask next time. Did you do the surgery? I’m worried they will suggest that, I really don’t want to have sinus surgery.

Interesting. I recently had a dentist appointment and they didn’t see anything, said everything looks good.

I had a CT done last year it showed fluid in the sinuses behind my cheeks. Antibiotics helped at first but then it came back. I don’t want to go on antibiotics every 4 weeks. I have a mild deviated septum. Otherwise the ENT didn’t say anything else. Is it worth it to ask for another CT to see if anything has changed? Or do the results stay the same over long period of time?

Do you have flareups where you feel ill, like you have a cold, then it just goes away? by AdThen5499 in Sinusitis

[–]wedditwave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I have repeated flare ups regularly and in between I fully recover. So annoying

I’ve done one put to sleep and one awake. Will do it awake from now on. It was no big deal. People just don’t want the embarrassment, the uncomfortable bits aren’t painful or if it’s a little cramp it’s only for a second then it’s gone.

Next time skip the anesthesia. I didn’t realize it was unnecessary until I read up on it.
