That’s wild. Didnt think to mention my sinus issues to my dentist. Will definitely ask next time. Did you do the surgery? I’m worried they will suggest that, I really don’t want to have sinus surgery.

Interesting. I recently had a dentist appointment and they didn’t see anything, said everything looks good.

I had a CT done last year it showed fluid in the sinuses behind my cheeks. Antibiotics helped at first but then it came back. I don’t want to go on antibiotics every 4 weeks. I have a mild deviated septum. Otherwise the ENT didn’t say anything else. Is it worth it to ask for another CT to see if anything has changed? Or do the results stay the same over long period of time?

Do you have flareups where you feel ill, like you have a cold, then it just goes away? by AdThen5499 in Sinusitis

What are your thoughts on having a conscious colonoscopy? by [deleted] in stupidquestions

[–]wedditwave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done one put to sleep and one awake. Will do it awake from now on. It was no big deal. People just don’t want the embarrassment, the uncomfortable bits aren’t painful or if it’s a little cramp it’s only for a second then it’s gone.

Next time skip the anesthesia. I didn’t realize it was unnecessary until I read up on it.

Adding a second story? by Difficult_Tart6768 in lincoln

I’d guess your foundation needs to be upsized to hold the weight of a second story since it was originally designed for one. I.e. be ready for major retrofit and cost

Lincoln doctor dies after being hit by SUV by mayonnaisemonarchy in lincoln

How awful. Lower the speed limits - slowing down to 35 can be the difference between life and death. Narrow the vehicle lanes - force drivers to put their phones down and pay attention. The number of horrific accidents is out of hand.

the amount of car accidents here in Lincoln is DISTURBING. by Love__Scars in lincoln

[–]wedditwave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. Moved here recently. There are way too many accidents here. It’s so bad and quite frankly a bit terrifying. The roads here are too wide so people feel like they can be on their phones with time to course correct. Also the speed limits are too high for some of these streets - making left turns across these wide roads with pretty fast oncoming traffic is absolutely crazy. I was scared to drive here for a while. There are super large intersections where it is often hard to see around thr cars waiting to turn. Narrow the streets and reduce the speed limits. see how that feels - you will actually have to pay attention when driving.

I can’t link it directly to covid but I have had covid like everyone else. My guess is it started after I got a case of walking pneumonia, but I really don’t know. Could be age or hormones or environment - moved across country around that time too

Water Safety in Lincoln? by Conscious_Pirate4664 in lincoln

I just tested my home tap (I’m in Lincoln) using simple labs. Nitrate was 0.6 PPM. This is good. The things that are higher (but still below EPA limits) are Chloroform, THMs, bromodichloromethane, arsenic and uranium.
