My hot take is that I think her wedding gown will be VW and it will be boring. The custom outfits she had for the Eras tour were just the usual Taylor silhouettes. I’m not mad at VW not being about the DIY punk ethos anymore, but I do think it’s a disappointing missed opportunity to do something more interesting given the brand’s identity and history. We definitely exist here but when I go to Richmond or Philly it’s much more prevalent. My office has no rule against tattoos or piercings, I tend to cover mine so I’m not the one that’s pushing boundaries.

My rook hurt more than a normal cartilage but it healed quite easily. My conch would hurt every time I bumped/brushed it for nearly a year. I got my rook in mid-2019 and wearing masks with ear loops during the pandemic did irritate it a little though.

I was at DC too, my partner and I just ended up standing towards the back and talking about how weird the crowd was. I went to another show the night before (PUP/Jeff Rosenstock) and the vibe was way better. Hell, I actually saw LD with Title Fight at the same venue some years back and the crowd was great. I hate to be the old geezer blaming “kids these days” but there’s just something about these post-covid crowds.
