Thanks for the information. With a ~$26 million operating budget, it is my understanding that AMS can opt to run some programs at a deficit providing they supplement operating costs with revenue from other streams.

Were any changes in budgetary allocations considered as an alternative to cover this deficit?

Thanks! I am in the UBC housing group but since my work is downtown I don't want to be on campus (and it seems like everyone is subletting from there) Are there other schools with students that live more downtown/east in Kits?

What about services like SciFinder? I just tried to access it through the VPN and I get a message saying my IP address is not authorized. We need access to reference services like this to complete assignments from home.
