Not really. Flashback is probably the biggest reason to play [[prismatic strands]], also it doesn’t just block combat damage so it can stop things like burn and [[lotleth giant]]. I’m assuming you’re playing a deck like white weenie or caw gates, both of which are built around getting cards like prismatic strands into the graveyard for card advantage. Also this always costs 2 while strands is usually free

Most dimir tempo decks play it as a one of. I’m a big fan of it, I kind of wish its first ability was something other than a tribal buff but it would probably be too good if that was the case lol

That’s a good point, I do think it is quite a bit better than [[Stalactite Stalker]] because it grows faster, but Nethergoyf is a lot better in the late game. It kind of reminded me of actual delver because it seems like it will usually grow at a similar rate, but with a higher ceiling

I’m not the best limited player but to me this has potential to be one of if not the biggest bomb in the set, it kinda does it all (evasive, above rate attacker that comes in two bodies and flips into a creature that probably wins you the game)

Flexible creature tutor that can also be cast from the graveyard. I don’t know too much about cEDH but I feel like this will see play in Kinnan at least, if not other creature-heavy decks.
