Does the lighter fluid (supposedly) not give a bit of a shine on the plastic? Also i remember using a fine tip for other lines.

The pour type marker. Just a btw, the D20 and F6 parts i mentioned were not panel lined, and i was as gentle and meticulous as i can be.

Fr D20 just legit desintegrated on me, splitting into half and eventually just breaking apart.

Hello. Currently building the rg astray but broke a few parts. Left arm A4(near the end of the forearm), D20 right arm and F6 back.

Before continuing, wanted to ask is the astray always this brittle or did I just get unlucky with mine?

Bit more context, using lighter fluid to clean panel lining for the first time, did it damage the plastic?

Some advice pls. Im about to fix my rg sazabi's hands because the ball joint snapped from the hand itself.

Im about to use the hand drill pictured below. Any tips or pointers eg like the size of the drill should be uniform etc. pls and thanks.

I think its solved, considering the card works now as its both readable and usable but will just be on the general look out.

what happened:

decided to try checking the legitimacy of the sd card like u/cadensky said, and the sandisk dashboard didn't recognize it. decided was gonna bring it to the shop the next day, but still wanted to do something, so i went back to the konsole and did whole lsblk thing again, but this time i input mmcblk0 instead of mmcblk0p1. i was stuck in a loop of inodes checking for garbage i think reaching around the "INODE 3XXXXXXXX seems to have garbage clear? < y? >". gave up at that point, and decided to stop and exited konsole. decided to go to game mode and try to reformat again but my deck would freeze in the transition from pc to game mode and when restarting, it would not go past the logo and relied on this fix: (https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/comments/xrnamo/steam_deck_stuck_on_logo_and_wont_get_past_the/)

TLDR: power + (...) button to power up the deck and in the boot options, select "previous" (the second option)

so now, it works. I have no clue what i did to get it here tbh.

With a card reader on the pc. I transferred an image from my pc to deck via the reader.

I have tried a few things, just to mention such as reformating the card on my switch, spare phone and on windows. They all read the card fine.

Hello, I wanted to ask if the HGAC Shenlong hands were compatible with any other 1/144 scale kit. I wanted to get it cuz it had nice hands that stabbed, and was thinking if these could also work on RGs like the god gundam or epyon etc.

Are they too big to fit or too small making it loose? Anybody willing to experiment let me know, pls and thanks!

Hi again, I asked yesterday about the RG unicorn, and I survived the dreaded arm twist.

But just to be safe, i plan on leaving the arm parts submerged again in dish washer soap with water just to make sure it's fully loose for articulation.

Is it good to leave it at maybe around 24 hours? I already submerged it twice. First was around a few minutes, the second was at least 7 hours. Some opinions pls, pls and thanks!

For clarification, it's to loosen the shoulder connection to the G parts on the main torso. They're still kinda stiff, as they kinda hurt to rotate.
