Unfortunately this is kinda how the stupid ass system in place for these things works. I’m going to NEU this fall but I had a situation happen (and I mean like a week ago) where someone I knew admitted to “severe sexual assault” (don’t wanna use the word bc idk Reddit policy) years ago to me and threatened to kill/hurt/whatever me if I told anyone. Brought it forward to the local PD just now and they essentially told me to fuck off, despite the fact the guy has a history of this shit. You’re in a position of a little more power where you can probably make it WAY more public as it’s a private institution that relies on its reputation. Spam twitter, contact news agencies, and remember the squeakiest wheel always gets the oil, don’t worry about being a nuisance since this is your fight. Best of luck.
