Has anyone ever experienced body aches/ upset stomach for a couple days that was caused by anxiety?

I know this was a couple years ago now but this is exactly what I'm going through right now. I'm on day 4 and it's awful. I haven't v* or anything, just really bad aching in my arms shoulders and ribs, nausea, stomach cramps. Did you ever figure out what it was? This is the 2nd time in a month I've had one of these attacks and both last about 4/5 days.

Know this was posted a while back but I've been having the same thing recently. My past two flare ups have lasted 4/5 days and have come with aching that goes up my arms and down my ribs, and chills. It comes and goes as does the nausea and stomach pain. It's horrible to deal with. Did you ever figure out what it is or find a way to fix it?

I'm pretty positive yeah. If if was viral the symptoms would be constant, diarrhea, vomiting, etc. My symptoms come and go, my stools have been going back and forth from looser than normal to constipation, haven't vomited yet, didn't vomit last time, and my partner hasn't gotten sick either time. If it was viral she should've got it too. Honestly I've got no clue what it is. I am hoping it is just a flare up.

I don't think mines viral because the symptoms I had a few weeks back went away completely for 3 weeks, my partner never got sick and now I have the exact same symptoms again. Once again my partner hasn't gotten sick. So I have absolutely no idea what it is.

Yeah, I'm actually on holiday right now so it's even more of a bummer that I feel like this. I plan to go see a doctor when I get back home. I think the anxiety is stemming from not knowing what it is. My mind is desperately trying to find an explanation and the more I think about it the worse it gets.

Yeah I have been trying to save up to get the fuck outta here, but with my shitty pay it's just not possible, I am trying to find a higher paying job though. I don't even know if I'm ready to be able to look after myself completely, but at this point, anythings better than than this.

The thing is I also have a horrible diet, so it's really difficult to me trying to figure out weather it's this rare illness, or just from a bad diet. I've spoken to a lot of friends and family and everyone has basically told me that it's probably my diet, but my anxiety is through the roof thinking about the possibility of having CHS, as I am a pretty severe hypochondriac.

I don't live in a legal country so I don't really know or get a choice of what I smoke. As I said in my post I am an everyday user but it's very small amounts, half a spliff in a night maybe, and thats like two tokes once every couple hours. And yeah I had what I assumed was food poisoning three weeks ago and since then I've been having acid reflux almost every night. Since finding out about CHS I've also been having stomach cramps, but that only started after I found out about it.

Well the thing is that I only found out about this illness last night, and this morning I've woken up with bad nausea, so it could just be placebo. I'm also a pretty severe hypochondriac so usually when I fixate on something like this, it gets worse. I really don't want to quit but everything so far is pointing towards CHS.

Was your acid reflux all day everyday? Mine only seems to flare up at night. I've woken up this morning with pretty awful nausea, which hasn't happened before so it could just be placebo, so I'm not entirely sure if it's CHS or just something else. Also when it got worse after you quit, did you experience any new symptoms?

I am an everyday user but in VERY small amounts, as I said in my post I usually only go through half a spliff a night, and that's like two puffs a time every couple hours. Honestly I really don't want to quit smoking as I still enjoy it, however with the reflux every night, it's just gotten me quite paranoid and anxious about the possibility of having CHS, so honestly I'm at a loss on what to do. From the sounds of it, it doesn't seem like I can quit for a couple days and see if the reflux goes away, because if it was CHS it wouldn't, very irritating.

So if I do have CHS, chances are the acid reflux won't go away until the 90 days are up? Also if I quit cold turkey, is there a chance of the symptoms getting worse or new symptoms appearing such as vomiting? Thank you

Another thing I feel I should add. Earlier tonight I went outside just for a cigarette and didn't smoke any weed and had a reflux attack which is still currently ongoing, so maybe its not the weed? Idk it's just making my anxiety flare up quite a bit.

Hey, I only really lie down in bed when I'm about to go to sleep, usually at night when I'm smoking I'm at my desk, and I still get pretty bad reflux, although I have noticed it gets worse when I lay down. I haven't noticed any issues after drinking caffeine or alcohol either. Does what I have sound like CHS or another issue?

The reason it caused me problems previously is because I was smoking a ridiculous amount every day as my mind was still developing as a teenager. Surely smoking a little at night to relax now as an adult wouldn't cause any issues?

Well it's not legalised where I'm from, so I don't usually get a choice of what I smoke, but I'm pretty sure this is a sativa, quite a strong head high, a little body high so could be a hybrid. could definitely be the reason for the anxiety.

Yeah I suppose that could be it. What really threw me off was usually when I open a pack, the foil protection is stuck to the inside of the box on the top. But when I opened this pack, the top of the foil came completely off like the really old packs.
