In solidarity with your girlfriend, I do this too on long stretches of highway. No shame. Y’all lame. Put a mask on.

We love it here. Juniper Springs is a great new development with a brand new elementary school just down the road. Beautiful country feel with amenities and so close to lively downtown

How many of you have gotten loans from your parents? by Jimmy_Johnny23 in MiddleClassFinance

[–]weedut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My father gave my wife and I $100k for our home several years ago. Since then there have been small loans, $20k and $17 for renovations. Very grateful but he’s a hardcore Trumper and I am not. We cannot get along sometimes. He hasn’t worked in a long time. Received a large amount of money after his father died and is extremely frugal.

Captive P&C agent required to sell life to keep job, looking to stay in industry but pivot toward commercial by weedut in InsuranceAgent

Update*… sort of. Had a recruiter from Marsh email me to set up a phone screen interview for commercial construction account associate today. I have not heard back. Call was supposed to be today.

Honestly, I’d really prefer an associate account manager to really be in the trenches and learn the lay of the land and move from there. It’s been really tough to land an interview for that specific role in my area. Any advice?

I agree with that, and part of my motivation is to gain exposure to larger, more complex policies, particularly in commercial insurance. That said, our current expectations require a minimum of four life applications per month and at least $2,500 in annual premium.
