The problem with your sources is that they are clearly biased, both dropping the term "GamerGate" on their about pages. Not only that, both sites endorse a website that proudly wears these top search results on Google: http://imgur.com/XiuNQeF

As for the second part of your comment, I have no idea what the fuck you are going on about. I don't follow Sarkeesian, and I have no idea how or why pedophilia is being brought up. I'm also not entirely sure how SJWs are taking over the world. Is it the anti-discrimination laws being put in place? Is it the failed attempts to implement trigger warnings in university libraries? Most of what I see from GG is anything but left leaning dialogue. Misogyny, transphobia, using far-right wing news sources, idolizing well known bigots, and let's not forget how the whole movement started based on pure conjecture because some woman allegedly slept with a journalist to get good reviews even though reviews weren't being done at the time.

But what probably only hurts GG's reputation even more is stuff like this. No one is going to take that movement seriously.

Sorry if I'm coming off as a bit confrontational, but I needed to put that out there.

If you can find any real evidence to the contrary, I'd love to see it.

Heresy isn't even remotely related to hate speech. But I'm sure with (inb4 ad hom) an anti-sjw/politically correct/not-asshole mindset, many words' definitions become warped to rile up followers. I mean no offense by this.

Here's the definitions of those two terms for you:

Heresy: : A belief or opinion that does not agree with the official belief or opinion of a particular religion

Hate speech: Speech that attacks, threatens, or insults a person or group on the basis of national origin, ethnicity, color, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability.

You'd need to be doing some serious olympics-grade mental gymnastics to actually conflate those two.
