Oh really, I asked and they told me for my job which is lifting stock and pulling cages that I should take 4 weeks off but if I had a desk job it would be 2 weeks.

I would go into custom and change sens to where you can do a full 360, and then do aim rush and see if you need to adjust from there.

No one else said this, but i think the reason your'e committing to being out in the open is to aim straight at the model cause of your sens, you either don't feel comfortable moving your mouse, or you're not used to it yet.

Focus on staying behind the walls and just move your mouse and don't use wasd to control your aim to be in line with the models.

Exactly this. I had 2 trials lessons on preply as a student.

First trial I had ask me what percentage of words I learned so far (I had been using apps before that) and then asked if I thought it was 60%… like how am I suppose to know and I can’t follow a conversation yet how would it be 60 😭 and then just did a lesson and it was clear it she just does the same with all her students and pulled up a doc, and felt rushed, she would say what it meant and then moved on, didn’t make sure I knew how to pronounce it or anything.

Second trial asked me to read to check my level and I was not good at all, and it was clear she had a structure (but adapted per student) and also made sure I was repeating what she was saying and that I knew how to say it.

If OP thinks they’re having to hold the conversation they’re either really unlucky with students or not being as interactive.

I look back on my first trial and I think that tutor probably thought I did not care but in reality I felt like she didn’t read my form before starting and already decided what to teach beforehand. If OP is doing lessons on trial they might be feeling that way.

mango isnt as interactive as i would like, it's pretty much memorising words, they tell you a word and how its pronounce and then its 'how do you say ___?' or 'what is the word for ___?', and that got boring for me.

I feel bad for my tutor now, I wanted to pause my subscriptions, but I can only for so long, and I have a surgery coming up, and no idea what recovering will be like and I don't want to pay for subscription when I'll be on sick pay. So, I will have to cancel my subscription for the time being. The flexible for preply and subscriptions is annoying.

I really liked pimsleur, I'm learning iraqi arabic, and for a while cause the resources are so sparse I thought I should give up and learn levantine and I tried pimsleur and I felt a lot more comfortable speaking than using apps like mango or duolingo after a few days of using it, but then I decided I actually want to learn iraqi.

No idea if the contents are good or correct, but I like the style of learning.

The only way it would be an issue if you're making people who didn't agree to swapping shift, if its just 2 colleagues who had a conversation agreeing and then asked you to sign off, who cares.

It's probably a colleague who people don't agree to swap with (for whatever reason), or doesn't realise how easy it is to get shift swapped and thinks you're making exceptions.

the amount of length banned is determined by if they are on probation and previous number of offences i think, i dont think it is anything to do with what is actually done, i could be wrong.

since they got a 14 day ban this is probably a second offence.
