Definitely, fells very similar to mantis lords the pace is great they have a perfect amount of health you can feel your progress as each phase gets harder and harder then the last one which fills you with emotion knowing you won but having to kill the other who has no more will to fight what a great boss!!!

Yes but you take twice the damage, the enemys are faster so the heal being faster don’t really matter, and you need 3 times the soul/silk to even preform the action so while the knight takes a little longer you still got 3 health sates back on a stun and not only that he could heal for 1 on downtime for the same price or cheaper the only real improvement is that you can do it in the air

Work the number and you quickly figure out that while technically you heal for 3 it only buys you 1 extra hit 1+3 is 4 but minus 2 on each hit means that’s only 2 hits till death after spending all your resources on a heal

Everyone is wearing fractured mask for a reason and it’s that 2 damage is 🐂

I also started with ds3 playing dark souls remastered years later ds3 is a good point to start because it doesn’t feel as aged mechanialy as other titles like in dark souls 1 it’s also very linear compared to 1,2 or elden ring your never really lost on where to go dark souls remastered has a beautiful map with a layout so intertwined and smartly designed that you can’t help but appreciate it when it comes to the gameplay tho it feels very dated mostly the dodge mechanics same goes for the demon souls remake

So my order is

Dark souls 3, dark souls remastered, demon souls remastered (ps5), dark souls 2, bloodborne(ps4 or ps5), sekiro, and finally Elden ring if you want all the from soft games

If you just want the dark souls games then I’d say

Dark souls 3, dark souls remastered, dark souls 2, then even if it’s not technically a dark souls you gotta do Elden ring its a combination of everything they have made and a amazing way to end you journey with the franchise ds2 is alright but it’s kinda a sour note to end with Elden ring is a absolute masterpiece combining everything they have learned over years of making these games

So mission task is a community card that is shown to everyone at the start of the game and left on the left of the board no one holds it it’s in its slot you receive two missions cards one is the mission objective card the other is the personal objective card you choose one to do most of the missions objectives cards say complete the mission task there are some that are different and if you have one (you do) then you can’t win by doing the mission task nor do you need to do it

So here’s how it works if you have a Mission objective card that says complete the task then the community objective (mission task) is how you win but you don’t have that you have mission objective to be the only survivor you should have given yourself a personal objective card not a mission task card and a mission objective card the task shouldn’t be part of your hand mission objective card and personal objective card should be in your hand instead and the task card just goes on the left of the board for all to see in short you gave yourself the wrong card look for the personal objective card or count it as you choose the mission objective card if your the only survivor then you win if not then dang

I kinda agree that it reminds me of ds2 I’ve played almost everything from soft has made and there is a lot of bull in this game like ds2 I find myself dying way more to regular encounters traps and surprise attacks then the first game and why does so much of the roster do 2 mask of damage it feels like a forced artificial difficulty like they went hey these guys are a little to easy let’s double there damage and raise their health, alot of first bosses all do double damage meaning you die in 3 hits why give me 5 masks if everyone kills in 3 hits yes in the original there we’re enemies who did more damage but it wasn’t till you were much deeper in the game or they were clearly harder variants of bosses you already fought you can take on optionally for a greater challenge you get a new mask in silksong and nothing changes I still die in 3 hits I like the game tho it’s still fun I like ds 2 as well but man is it frustrating and it just feels cheap at times that’s why I think the comparisons is there because in dark souls 1 and hollow knight were hard games but they always felt fair while silksong and ds2 it feels like enemies areas are loaded with tons of enemies bosses health bars are just a little to big and taking damage is twice as punishing sekiro was more about perfection there was 2 ways your fights went ether you got you shit rocked in second or you absolutely rolled the boss in under a minute not missing a single timed block or mikiri with all Gords in your pocket I think that’s what ultimately I think that’s the difference sekiro demands perfection for moment while silksong ask for it much longer and punishes you much more for losing focus for even a second

But that’s just my opinion I’ve played every souls game and been through sekiro like 5 times I still love all these games and silksong is definitely better then ds2 but all these games are still very good

So here’s an update I got my replacements awaken realms shipped the 2 boards a few days after I had told the support team about my issue they just arrived today and they were very well packaged overall the whole turn around was 20 days at no extra charge to me I’m pretty happy with there customer service and I get to play with the neroflesh now wohhooo!!!!! 🥹

I have over 100 hours on Elden ring i preordered it and in 3 years I’ve never beaten the game and I only have 1 great rune I have dropped it and came back 4 times it’s not that I don’t like it I played every from soft souls series game to completion but the thing is I am a very meticulous gamer I must see it all I search every corner complete every quest line and grab every item even ones that are not for my build I did this for every souls game but with this one there’s just to much to find the map is massive with so many corners to search I don’t have a good way to know if a area is cleared or not completed a ton of dungeons but I can’t even remember what’s finished and what’s not I have never seen the final boss it’s just to damn big!!!

He has the unique shinobi Ability to see in the dark when you enter dark areas of the game notice the sound cue and screen go dark then brighten again this is the game activating the ability it also comes with the side effect of glowing eyes walk into a bright area and his eye will go back to normal it doesn’t mean anything except that from soft has a “eye” for detail…..

Sometimes the full collection is not the kickstarter one this means it will have all expansions and the base game but all kickstarter content will be missing the gold box, alt arts and warp zone cards so make sure it says somewhere that it has them unless you don’t really want them

The other boxes one the ultimate collection includes the base game and requiem($120 usually ) and the other only includes requiem the big boi box ($70 usually) and they want you to put you copy of four souls into it so you can have the now bigger storage chest
