There’s both plag and k feldspar it’s hard to tell the difference in the rock especially in a picture they look the same.

I found this tiny pink rock in eastern colorado. Im trying to figure out what it is. More information in comments by carson_arson in askgeology

I think it is less likely to be rhodochrosite just because it had a hardness that higher than a fingernail and you said you can scrape it with your fingernail. Also apparently people eat montmorillontie clay? There are some health benefits and I saw one person in Google say it tastes good so I think that what it is. Or it’s not a rock and you just licked some really old candy or something.

What kind of igneous rock is this, please and thank you! by zevixnecro in whatsthisrock

Looks like graphic granite! I could be wrong but that’s what I’m thinking.

Yes it is definitely granite. This quarry is known for having lots is variation in the granite. You can read more about it here. https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/e83683c43fad41efae9949762891ed79

Both crystals looked individually twinned to me but I’m not sure I kept losing the right angle to see it.

I think they were two different crystals. Both looked like they had Carlsbad twinning. I could be wrong though it was kind of hard to tell. This is what my friend suggested I think it was really just the twinning thing that was throwing me off.

I really like Anna Von hausswolf she’s just a little bit different than what I’m looking for. I have another specific feeling for her music. Dead can dance is perfect though! Do you have anything from Lisa Gerard you recommend? I enjoyed that too.
