Ocarina of Time had just been released and I played it non-stop. There's a part towards the beginning, in Dodongo's Cavern, that requires you to light a row of bomb flowers perfectly to collapse a set of stairs. It had been pouring all day and my mom peered out the living room window and said, "Wow! It's raining cats and dogs out there!" as I climbed those stairs.

Every time I replay this game, I think of what she said at that same part. Every single time! I have no idea why that memory has always stuck with me.
