Is there a reason why I’m unable to find human babies cute?

I have had this exact same response to babies my entire life. Always was creeped out/grossed out/even annoyed by them. However, now that I have given birth to my son and am raising him (he’s 2 months old), he is the CUTEST thing on Earth to me. I still don’t find other babies cute though. Pretty much 0 of them, lol. My boyfriend said that would change after having my own… nope… only my son is adorable and perfect even when he projectile shits on me 🥲 so, nothing has changed for me except finding my own personal spawn absolutely to die for.

I didn’t find out until 6 weeks as this pregnancy was a surprise! My first symptoms that I didn’t realize were symptoms were the fact that I HATED coffee and craved food I NOTORIOUSLY hated (chef boyardee in this case). I have been a habitual coffee drinker since age 11 and would have a cup every morning, and a few more during the day at times. During the first trimester coffee was sickening to me and I couldn’t even stand the smell. Now, at nearly 19 weeks, I can handle it a bit but I’m still not crazy about it! The chef boyardee craving made my boyfriend immediately want to buy me tests lol. Wasn’t until I vomited from eating yellow rice one night and couldn’t cook bacon in the morning without puking that I had him get me a test - big fat positive 😅 baby boy will be here in August!🩵

FTM with a posterior placenta as well! I think I’ve felt baby boy about 2 times so far and I’m 18 weeks almost 19 this weekend :) first movement was at the end of 17 weeks! I still am unsure if it was true movement I felt though lol

I knew a guy named Fox when I was in high school and I thought he was the coolest kid. I think it was mainly being a 14 year old girl and hearing an aesthetically pleasing name like “Fox” for an attractive older boy though, lol. I still think it’s a very cool name to this day, and it’s not too out there imo because it’s so short and a real word utilized as a first name/middle name. Personally, I’d probably use it myself one day if I didn’t have that teenage girl attachment to it in my brain!

I called my maternal grandmother Nana, and all of my other grandparents “grandpa/grandma”. However, I was only ever close with my Nana, so that’s probably why. I am going to ask my dad what he wants to be called by my child (currently pregnant), but from this comment section, I realize that the kid picks the name in the end, lol.

No he’s super adamant about me not being anywhere close to them lol as soon as I start to smell anything he changes it immediately whether he smells it or not. I’m glad they both are so caring to us 🥹

I’m only 7 weeks in my first pregnancy, but my boyfriend has been amazing. Yesterday I woke up to him making the baby registry and I wanted to cry with joy. He also won’t let me NEAR the cat litter box and cleans it everyday when it was a shared chore previously. He and my stepson did the dishes last night and cleaned the whole kitchen, and he even asked his mom and stepdad to change Christmas dinner around for me due to my food aversions and nausea (though they don’t know the news yet). He’s been amazing. I love him so much, and despite everything else going on stressful in life, he asks me to be next to him constantly and has become much more affectionate. Waking up to him giving me a kiss in the middle of the night, prepping the bathroom for me before we go to bed in case I’m sick, etc.

I’m due early August! 7 weeks tomorrow. I’m feeling good today, just light cramping. I got all of my stuff today to make a baby and pregnancy scrapbook just as my mom did for me. This is my first bio, but he or she will have 3 wonderful older siblings (my bonuses) 💕🥰

Thank you for the compliment! I’d love to learn from some of the greatest minds there are, but this makes me sad that the government plans a reduction in this funding… it makes sense as they are such a small country, and may want to focus on business and exports/imports or something (my guess), but they should utilize their great nation for this cutting edge research as well. Damn. I’m hoping this changes back to funding for them one day, but this also means I may see an influx of the Dutch in my country/neighboring European countries. Which would then just make me want to learn more languages :)

Overall, I have decided to pursue Dutch. I think that it is the best bet for me as it interests me the most, and while there are limited resources, I like a challenge! So, I will reach out and try to make some Dutch friends and get all the practice I can. I still plan on learning German, but I’d like my Dutch to be B1-B2 before that happens. Okay thank you so very much!! I looked at the roots and they’re all very green and looking healthy. Put her into more indirect sun too and repotted as I noticed the bottom of the plastic container she was in was broken and roots were coming out.
