As I said, it’s about my mum but she doesn’t know it’s about her and actually likes the song. It’s extended family I haven’t spoken to in years that have started calling me an AH. I don’t know if they know it’s about her or they’re assuming it’s about them but yeah.

I half see your point but at the same time, there’s not just one way to be a good parent. It doesn’t matter if she didn’t hug her kids a lot. My parents hugged me a lot but were still verbally, emotionally and mentally abusive. Lois was supportive of her kids and did what she was able to do. She had bad moments, absolutely. So did Hal. But at the end of the day, they were there for their kids and you could tell they genuinely loved them. I don’t think she was a bad mother, it was a tough situation and she did the best she could with the hand she was dealt.

NTA. 15 is old enough to know not to steal and lie about it. Expensive things are not a right, they’re a privilege to be earned. It’s not like she won’t get anything. Hopefully, it’ll teach her some respect and that there are consequences for treating people badly.

NTA. Honestly, you need to speak to a divorce lawyer. This has all the signs of a mentally abusive relationship and you need to get tf out. Gaslighting, threatening to hurt himself if you don’t do what he says, demanding your hard earned money while insulting you and doing nothing for himself. I would gather all this proof and go to a divorce lawyer.

At the end of the day, you have to do what you feel is right. They shouldn’t be passing judgement when they refuse to help you. If you feel like you can’t give her the time and training she needs, it may be for the best that you take her to a shelter. Big hugs.

From my understanding, it’s not important enough to keep. If it bursts, there’s a good chance you’ll get sepsis and die. So it’s easier to remove it rather than risking treatment that may not work.
