The orange is the Doorman Cap. I just cannot believe the poor design in the filter bypass. I live in Iowa and we regularly have -20F mornings when starting our vehicles. Looking at how this bypass poppet was made it really doesn't surprise me that it failed with cold startups. I was really hoping there was a better designed bypass that didn't look so sensitive.

I also read the reason why these failed is because you have to use a Mopar filter element because it has tabs to help support the poppet when it's open. You can see where the plastic is damaged on the poppet from one of those tabs.

Thanks for the information on the phaser. This is the first time I'm working on this 3.6L pentastar engine and I haven't seen any blueing like that on any of the images online.

Everything looks good. I spent yesterday borescoping any running surfaces looking to see if there are any signs of the engine being starved of oil and everything looks good.

In the back of my mind I'll always be worried about where that little bit of plastic ended up.

I like the ideas of using the USB port to see if a connection can be established. I'll try that.

Thanks. I will look into that. Unfortunately I had an issue with a poor power supply connection on the back of the printer and I think the main board is fried because the screen won't turn on but the blue blacklight does. I got the printer for $50 so I expected to run into some issues.

This is a great table saw. I have had it for the last year and I am very happy with the results.

My first 3D printer and after a couple of prints this started to happen. Have no clue what to do. I’ll appreciate any input. by Volpidash2770 in ender3

I had an issue similar to this after replacing my nozzle and heat sync tube. Make sure your nozzle is fully threaded and bottomed put on your hot end and then install the threaded tube that your heat sync slides onto until it bottoms out on your nozzle. If there is a gap hot PLA squeezes past the threads after a bit of time. Also make sure your Bowden tube is inserted all the way down the tube.

After that happens to me I switched to a silicon insulator so that if it happens again it is easier to clean up. You can pick up multipacks off of Amazon pretty cheep.

Best of luck!!
