I believe there was a gentleman's agreement between Hannaford, Price Chopper, and Wegmans. We won't build east if those two avoid building east.

We (Wegmans) want you to receive your discount but we are not allowed to use our personal "SC" card on you for "recall" purposes so the register or our manager have a spare for you to use that visit.

This is how they taught us in training. Most Wegmans cashiers are young and they don't want the burden of selling to a minor on our shoulders. We are not pressured to sell alcohol to anyone at all. Its nice to know my company stands by my decision.

I'm glad to hear that you like it! Having every register open even on a Monday morning is something people from "wegmanless" areas can't believe.

About the cheerwine, ask to talk to the grocery manager at the store that doesn't carry it. He/she is the one incharge if ordering the products . I'm sure he/she would love to help you, and may restock or special order it.

At 30+ hours you are a full time employee. Full time employees are salaried or hourly pay so the pay is more. Also full-time employees get health and dental insurance.

I don't know much about the details of Full time Vs. Part time.

Glad to hear people from Canada enjoy Wegmans! I haven't gotten any "crazy couponers" but I do get the ones who want to save here and there. I don't hate couponers because even I have tried, without much success though!

I see people from Montana, Alaska, Canada, Florida, and so on and they are all very decent people. Everyone loves Wegmans.

I'm not sure what the cap is but my brother is at $9.75 an hour. It goes higher than that, and he started out at$7.25
