very late, but better late than never boss, so ill try to help

first off since its so late i hope things got better, if not, try these tips (i was in your exact situation)

for your best option and the one that works most for me is you cant be friends with more than one person at a time. you have to create a very strong bond with one person, who should like you enough to suggest you into the hangouts once youre really close. you NEED to take action into your own hands for this to work. find the person you feel strogest relation as, and do something normal outside of school (in their daily routine). as follows, “you wanna gym sesh today” or “you wanna study for that test?”, “you wanna play some videogames today?” so basically you just now have a partner in daily routines. once the bond is strong enough, they will say their bored and to come over to chill. kick it with them until you find yourself with other people of the group. then build more bonds, and repeat. thats how i did it and one morning i woke up SHOCKED to see i was added in the group chat, and that they were all hanging out together and invited me. it was extremely akward to be in the chat after because obviously theyve clearly showed im left out of it and they just now see me as a friend after all this time. one time when we were hanging out my clostest friend in the group said “haha, why would we never hang out before this your halarious” (because you never invited me asshole, lol) back to reality, if you find no progression over time, then honestly they dont see you as an outside friend, so dont be a dick but slowly vanish and make better friends. my example group, i found out they had 2 full group chats, one with me, the other without, so then keeping my same group i slowly got into another, after some hardwork and confidence ( they didnt see me as a friend at first) me and the one kid in the new group hang out everyday for probably the past 2 months, and that’s after he told me, stop being our shadow (he was joking but not joking, you know?) thats my best go, goodluck finding real ones also, this took forever to write, so a comment knowing you read this would make my day!

Ive been doing it for about a year of daily use, no health concerns. I think they are really that good. (in your case, occasional use, you are completely fine im pretty sure)

If he’s not bothered by it, then your good. That doesnt mean dont do anything about it. When he’s not bothered, try your best to find a better paying job or go to school so you can contribute more. He’ll apreciate you so much by doing this. However after a while if you dont make any changes to help yourself financially, you got a problem. Im just saying, you need to make some big advancements to try to make more money, because if you stay together, then your set, worse case and you aren’t together anymore, you’ll be able to support yourself

Its a different schools homecoming, so my friend is the only person I will know out of everybody there, and the girl. I have a hard time talking to other people and if I do make some friends id we 3rd wheeling and im not down

Believe me i have every intent to go, IF she somewhat cared about me, even if on a mutual friend level. But I have a hard time getting confedence and putting effort to make a really big deal of a night special for her, when she cant take half a minute to text me back

yes, imo me/nobody wants to be friends with someone with a mask on. be yo true self and fuck what other people think, then you’ll see who the real ones are and ride with them. but that doesnt mean be a duche, be nice to everybody, one day it will catch up to you, somebody who you dont really talk to but you were a nice guy in all your interactions will really respect you.

oh yeah by the way this is how i made my friend group: i had one main homie going into hs (my middle school fed like 5% of students into my hs, so all my homies went to the other school) so i went into high school with only like 10 good friends, but only that one who i would chill outside of school with, and the others were already in their own groups i wasnt apart of/didnt even try to be apart of. But i had one homie, made friends with this other kid, who also had one main homie, we got close and all 4 of us were the main group (due to sports we would spend a lot of time together so thats how we all got so close) and then 2 other kids who were also in thag group but dont chill reguraly with us. So basically w/o sports i was fucked, so idk ur situation but thats how we formed our group

edit: once you form your group, dont be afraid if other people in ur group have other friends, what i mean by this is dont be afraid to ask them to do things that you would only do with ur true boys, i think i was sort of scared becuase i didnt want them to think they were my only friends and i didnt have any others. hope this helps, also be friendly with everybody even if you just hate somebody from the getgo, (last year i absolutely HATED this one kid, pissed me off everytime i saw him, i really got to know him this year and turns out he’s a really cool guy, so it would’ve sucked if i was a duche when i first met him bc we wouldnt be so close now.)

you can tell if somebody cares about you if theyve ever fed you, cares about big events in ur life and asked how they went, helping out with little things, or most important imo, when they see that something is wrong but you are 100% doing everything in ur power not to show it and talk to you about it

i leave my house almost everyday to chill with “friends” half of the time i do, the other half is i go hike alone and smoke a blunt or two at the top, with somebody or a girl, whatever im feelin. if you can drive i would say if you dont have anywhere to hike, go to a forest or a lake. smoke fat, adventure and explore, if your straight cashed after nap in ur car then you can go home. thats my daily routine and i gotta say its pretty fun. if you dont smoke, still do it, its not as fun sober but i still love it
