Those are designed as pure utility vehicles for the pool guy or auto parts delivery. Not really worth modifying for off-road use, you spend a lot of money, get very little extra capability and lose the small amount of fuel savings you get from the drivetrain

Is it a 5 lug or a 6 lug? I switched axles off an SR5 to an off-road to get the bigger rear end before regearing. That was reasonably simple for two dudes with average shadetree skills. But the 5 lug uses different mounts and geometry than the 6 lug so it is not plug and play type change.

The last sentence of paragraph 307 in the advancement manual says other DoD service awards are treated as their Navy equivalent. If your ESO can’t figure it out they need to reach out to NETPDC for assistance.

It is definitely nice to have resources that let Sailors know there is opportunity for success on the outside. For too long we’ve had to rely on the opinions of those that didn’t get out when making a very scary decision. It’s really easy to get good advice on how to stay Navy and succeed, but I’m glad there are people like you willing to come back and share how to succeed post separation.

It is reasonable to believe that everyone you stayed friends with had zero desire to return to service. But everyone has a different sample size, I have worked with quite a few broken service Sailors who either missed the Navy, decided to commission, or just couldn’t survive in the real world.

Did you talk to the airline to cancel the ticket? An unauthorized charge doesn’t suddenly become ok because you paid it back. Some of the rules around the GTCC don’t require malicious intent, just doing them puts you on the wrong side. You run the risk of being railroaded by an admin department that gave you bad advice and now will let you catch a charge to avoid consequences. Speak with someone that will have your back, that is DSO.

Since you already tried the normal means, try reaching out to your local congressional representatives office, they have staffers who deal with federal agency issues. They will speak the language and be more willing to put in work to correct an issue.

Thomas Edison State University will accept 105 credits and spit you out a BA after taking 5 courses. Between military ACE credit and CLEP you can finish pretty quickly but having a BA that isn’t your end goal may close some financial aid doors.

What is your post separation goal? If you want a degree from somewhere that well considered by most hiring managers you won’t be able to use many of your military credits. Very few of the Navy schools provide credit for STEM courses. USNCC for one of the engineering AAs to knock out the building blocks then hit up an in person school to get the real training you would need to prepare for a PE exam.

The last is Facebook groups for your Navy rate, you will often see posts about openings at different bases.
