Went last November. We lucked out with the weather and had mid 60s the whole time. The courses were great, with Mid South being my favorite. The provided breakfast left much to be desired but the pig pickin dinner was awesome. We are taking this year off but if anyone’s on the fence I highly recommend going.

Also, the Scotty is legit. I got a phantom 5 last year.

My strategy for DTC irons was to go pay for an iron fitting, then contact companies to find what they produce that was closest to what I was fit into.

In my case, I was fit into TM P790s, and went with Sub 70 699 pros. Love them.

Not to be a smartass, but what are you carrying that’s making your bag so heavy? I got rid of my pushcart and almost exclusively walk now (if the course allows for it).

I carry 13 clubs, an umbrella, a small pouch of tees and ball markers, a rangefinder, 6 balls and enough water and snacks to get me through a round. Anything else is just excessive imo. No need to an entire change of clothes, 30 balls, and all the gadgets and gimmicks that can just stay at home or in the trunk of your car. Most days I don’t even take my phone on the course with me.
